A working mum of two gorgeous girls, I struggled to find contemporary, comfortable and well-made indian kidswear or clothing in the UK. I don't know about you, but with a full-time job, two munchkins, hubby, and making the odd ‘roti’, I don't have the time to head to the indian high streets on the off chance I find what I’m looking for! I decided to see whether I could help other mums in a similar position, by setting up a UK and European site dedicated to seeking out and supplying exquisite salwar kameez, lehenga choli, kurti and cute girls dresses taking the hassle out of internet shopping.
I am working with labels in India that, for the most part, have been established by mothers so you can be sure that each garment is made with kids in mind - no itchy, scratchy, poorly made products here.
I am proud to be able to work with suppliers who are operating their labels in the same way we raise our children - with ethics and sound values. I work with a firm that also focusses on improving employment and skills of women in India, and I’m proud to say we’re exploring work with one organisation that seeks to minimise harmful impact of manufacturing on the environment by using sustainably sourced materials and herbal dyes.
I hope you find what you are looking for here at House of Aiyla. We’re always keen to hear from you on how we can help you further so please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
